need a cheap standalong dvd player. must play dvd-r media. I would
get an apex but I heard they don't play DVD-r media??

Find the cheapest DVD player you can find.

Then, head over to DVDRhelp.com and check their compatibility list.

Repeat as needed 🙂

I'd be surprised if the apex ones didn't play DVDRs, but that might be the case
