5.7 out of 7.0 at www.resellerrating.com RAM prices are crazy right now, hopefully they will go even lower. Then I could justify putting 512mb in my machine.

Crucial.com says your Toshiba only has 1 DIMM slot, and they want $49.49 for a 128mb stick.

toshiba satellite 2805-s402 ram is max 384 -- the 128mb ram standard is onboard unremoveable.
128 mb ram is cheap accross the line but the 256 mb ones is still very expensive for sodimm module-- try to do a search--market price for it is arround $170.

And this one is machine SPECIFIC for me to remind you. Chances are this memory wont work on other machine.

also--resellerratings.com review cant be taken seriously anymore. It's good for part of the refrence but since anybody who prolly never dealt with the company before can leave either good or bad ratings or comments. I trust bizrate ratings more.

Geez where are you getting your guys ram from? Hehe, I signed up for a comp biz and get my stuff from distributors, and I ordered pc133 128 sodimm for like 25 bucks... and the 256mb ones were about 65. Also, anyone tried playing cs on the tosbiha 2805-s402? Is the sound card causing the lag or is it just me? Whenever there is sound like "Go Go Go" or HE gren sounds, the comp lags for like 3 secs. When I disabled the soundcard it ran smoother. Maybe I just need more ram? I am just wondering if the soundcard eats the ram from the laptop. Oh, btw, tried on both ME and Win2k and was laggy on both unless sound was disabled.

according to the manufacture site - it's a sodimm with oem part # ktt-so815/256 and manufacture # is smts-so815/256 for toshiba 2805-s402 it's system specific part not generic part. As if it will work on my toshiba--no clue--have to wait for tomorow when it arrives so I can test it.
Some people here just dont get it-- 256mb sodimm for $59 is so darn cheap! They all thought sodimm prices is just like dimm modules prices.

And for the last time--this is 256 mb module not 128 module that you can buy practically everywhere for cheap!
