Need case reccomendation

I bought an Antec SOLO and this thing is way too small, from the pictures it seemed like it would be bigger. Anyways, that was my blunder.

I need a case that will fit 6 SATA drives, 1 CDRom, and 2 8800GTX. It should also have decent cooling..

Not looking to spend over $200, but if those are my only options so be it.

This is my recommendation.
Solid, Lian li quality, great cooling system and 6 hdd bays. Sound dampening too!😀 Not too shabby for $180.

It's a Lain Li'ized P180!. Looks a little roomier and you get the Lain Li quality. I don't much care for the right opening door though, but that's just a personal preference.
 
Yeah I have my other box in a P180. There's no way two 8800GTX would fit in there with all my hard drives, two 7800GT's was a ridiculously tight squeeze I had to get things just right just so all the cables didn't get in the way of fans etc.
 
I'm doing a build that requires room for a lot of hard drives as well. I'm going with a Lian Li G70B case, and a Supermicro sata enclsoure. Room for 11 hard drives total. And 3 5.25" bays left over.....
 
Silverstone Temjin 5 (SST-Tj05).

It comes in silver too but it seems that the Egg is out of those right now. You can probably find a better price on those than the Egg anyway as they don't do too well on the Silverstones except for the rare sale.

Wow. I'd never given the Lian Li PC-101A or PC-V2100A PLUS a good look. For some reason I had it in my head that all Lian Li's were pricy due to materials, quality, and looks ... but not features. They look like great cases on the inside as well. They look like the perfect step up from the Antec P180 if you like the "zones" of the P180.

Enjoy the 2 8800GTXs. Planning to run the Dell 30" beauty with all that power?

Yes, right now my one 8800GTX is driving games like Quake 4, Prey, Medieval II, HL2 (low fps 59 high 60) at 2560x1600 all settings maxed out with no hiccups... haven't tried F.E.A.R. out but I might soon just because of the eye candy..

NWN2 runs like crap at 2560x1600.. but I think its a game issue, needs to be patched... I want an nVidia demo to come out to show off the card...

3DMark06 is 10,800. 🙂
