Need a minimum of 30fps for battlefield 4 and Starcraft 2.

I want to play on max settings at 1080p but I dont need anti aliasing and stuff like that.

Only need a 500gb hard drive

I dont have a real budget but I dont want to spend more then I have to for my performance needs, Its always good to save money.

Do you need just the PC or do you need monitor, mouse, keyboard as well? What about an OS license? Do you have any parts that can be reused from an older machine?

the monitor/mouse/keyboard is irrelevant.

And yes I need an OS

Are you willing to overclock the CPU?

i5 4670k and a GTX 760 or GTX 660 is what I would recommend if you are seeking the best bang for the buck.

As usual with these things, start with [thread=2192841]Mfenn's build[/thread]. Then, if you want to save money:

- It looks like the 7870 he linked there will be sufficient for you. So you can swap it in for the 770.
- You don't have to get the Crucial M500 SSD, but it would help map load times and such.
- You don't have to get an overclocking chip or board, but in heavy 64-player maps you may find you want to overclock.
- You do need an OS. Get Windows 8.1. BF4 seems to do better on it than Win7.

Oh, and anything BF4 runs on Starcraft will have no problem on.
