I have a gigabyte ga-7dx and it has a plcc 32 pin bios and i was wondering how do i take it out since it got messed up when I was flashing it and i need to get it out to see if thats the only problem or if my whole mobo is messed up thanks, oh and if i could take it out using normal everyday tools that would be better than some specialized tool thanks

you can use a chip puller - but they are flimsy and bend too easy
the older the board the harder they come out
you can use a screwdriver under each end WITH THE MOBO OUT OF CASE, AND SOMETHING UNDER EACH
SCREWDRIVER TIP SO IT DOESNT RUIN THE TRACES ON MOBO, and rotate each sides tip a little.
If you take one side out too much at once, you will bend pins and when you bend them back later they
might break
Most mobo manuf will sell you a new chip for $10

there really isn't any room to get a screwdriver under, its not one of the long bios chips, its a small square one with a little plastic casing around it, anyone else
