Hi all,

All of a sudden, my bootup and shutdown time went into the crapper. Running WinXP.

Any hints/ articles on how to improve these.

Point me in the right direction

Thanks

Try getting rid of any unnecessary programs on startup menu. Clean you hard drive by using disk clean in system tools. Also, if you haven't deframented your hard drive in a while, you may want to run defragment program on y our hard drive. Another thing that you may want to try is making sure your virus definition files are current, and have scanned your hard drive.

I did all that.

Is there a sitewhere there is info on what you can pick and choose to disable at startup in my msconfig???

LMK

Thanks
