need benchmarks for CS:Source for 9500 pro

Can anyone who has an ATI Radeon 9500 pro please tell me your benchmarks for Counter Strike Source? I need to know if it is worth me upgrading my video card.

Depending on the CPU, a 9500pro should be fine but source really likes a fast cpu.

Look at what the 9600XT benches at, you'll be right around there, probably plus a little more with the 9500pro.

The 9600XT is very near the performance of the 9500 Pro, the 9600 XT is about 10% slower in the core (pipelines x MHz) and about 10% faster in the memory. So on games that rely on core speed more than memory the 9500 pro will have a slight advantage and in games that rely more on memory bandwidth, the 9600xt will have the advantage. In every case, they perform pretty close to one another, so you can use that as a decent reference if you can't find benchmarks with your specific card.

It does pretty well--even with AA+AF--and better than any 9600.

Thanks Pete I am impressed with these benchmarks. In one test, the 9500 pro beated every other card.

CS:Source surprisingly at the highest possible settings runs and highest possible res which is 1240x1078 or something like that gives me 91.7fps avg. with my eVGA6800gt OC'd to 375/1000
