need app to burn an ISO file

how do I do it? When I choose file > open it does not list ISO as a supported image.

ez cd creator would be your best bet.

Try File - Burn Image

If that doesn't work, right click the ISO and choose "Open with". When it gives you choices, choose Nero.

You could also Virtual Deamon Manager . You can mount iso images on the virtual drive and burn it with anything .
