how can i find out the serial # for my mobo without actually pulling out my board? i konw its sounds like a dumb questions, but is there any software wich will tell me the number? or is it on the top of my board somewhere, im afraid it is under the board.

i have an ASUS P2B-DS rev 1.04

thanks for the help in advance

Look at the bottom of the last PCI/ISA slot, there may be a sticker there with the serial number on it. I have slid a CD under it to use as a mirror before.

thanks for the help, but it doesnt show it.

its ok though, i think i got it, unless asus is trying to trick me thinking i have a stolen board

actually, asus suggested that i use a mirror to see the SN without removing the board, but i couldnt so i did, but i dont think it was there. i still gave them whatever numbers were there htough
