Need an unusual audio solution - hw or sw?

I need to record multiple audio streams at one time, which I am downloading. It could be as many as 10 or so max. I am trying to find some software (or hardware) that can do this. Right now I can use an app I have to record whatever is streaming but only one stream. If I run multiple streams I get errors. So I need a sound card that would let me do this, then software that will accomodate the same thing - open 10 streams, record them all separately.

Is this doable and if so, whose hardware/software do I need to get to make it happen?

thx!

There are pro-level audio cards out there that can handle multiple channels of audio simultaneously, but they aren't cheap - and they are generally set up to deal with external audio sources, not streams coming in over the internet. But there is no technical reason why that couldn't be done.
. Check some of the midi forums around the web. They are dealing with multiple channels all the time.

What do you mean by record? Open streams and then record to...
