Never thought I'd be stupid enough to play, but here I find myself going to Subway everyday for lunch hoping for the correct letters... Anyone else play the sweepstakes? I'm willing to share. :)

my guess is that if u need an s and a y, then chances are everybodys needs an s and a y to win. i bet those are the two letters that appears only in .00001 percent of the times

Now, you just had to go and ruin everything, didn't you. ;)

yeah, I'm sure the 'S' and 'Y' are just like those special pieces in McD's Monopoly games, where nobody wins because the only 3 winning pieces were never opened, or were thrown away.

Good luck ^_^

So, in other words, if I get an "s" or a "y", I should sell it for $500,000 :)

I am willing to bet either the S or Y is very rare. Probably one or two in existence. If the person that gets it does not play and tosses it away, I wonder if they print a new one seeing as the prize did not get claimed. I seriously doubt they print enough of each letter for many people to win..

You'd be better off just going to subway a bunch of times to get the other letters and keeping the million for yourself.

Yeah, but if I only get 1 of the two rare letters, what's the odds of getting the other one?

Good point. I figured you only need one of the pieces to win something. I'm probably wrong though.

I think you would be MUCH MUCH MUCH better off bribing a lowly subway employee w/ $50 to get like 25 additional scratcher pieces or whatever they come in. I'm sure they would take it in a heartbeat.
