Greetings everyone, I'm planning to buy few new parts for my old'ie, and don't know which one to choose.

Two variants:

1. Motherboard: Asus M3A78 PRO
CPU: AMD Phenom II 720.

2. Motherboard: Asus P5QL PRO
CPU: Intel C2D E8400.

My VGA is old MSI 8600GTS, but I don't plan to change it for now. I will also buy 2 or 4 GB of RAM.

Maybe you can say which system would be better or suggest something better, I would like to hear what you think about these two Mobo's. Maybe choose Gigabyte or other instead of Asus. And what about CPU's?

I will be thankfull for you help.
 
My choice would be #2 - I like Asus, and Intel - together they are reliable.
