I'd like to put a semi cheap/ decent system in my truck just cause the stock is soo lacking.

the bad, its going back in ~9 months since its a lease.

i figured since its a lease, i'll keep the speakers and put a decent sub ad head unit in it.

now, one thing my current stock radio does not have is aux input, which sucks since i like to use my ipod.(no tape deck either, fm transmitters suck.) So this will be replaced.

now, i would not be able to install this equipment so what can i expect to pay a local shop?

also, my budget is some what low, so i'd not have a problem buying second hand.

I'm also not looking for a monster sub, i figured a 10" would be fine.

what do you guys think? would it be smart to buy in sub and amp all in one to save on cost? my budget is ~$250. I know thats not alot but unfortunately other priorities in my life right now.

also, i'd like to be able to transfer this equipment to my new vehicle when the time comes.

stock hu + no reasonable output + cheap sub + cheap amp = horrid. HORRID.

don't do it.

NS1 how much you smoke tonight?

I clearly say i want to replace the head unit since ine is not i pod capable.
