Need advice

I still havn't decided on what case I want to get . . .

At first, I wanted a TT Tsunami Black (with window, it looks good), but then some people said that it was too loud and that the lack of a removable mobo tray made it not worth getting . . .

I then shifted my eyes to the Lian-Li PC-6070B . . . now others are saying that THIS case is loud because of 3x80mm fans . . . add the high price (at least $150), and these two cases both have their equal share of pros and cons . . .

So which one should I get?

I like the V1100B, which is why I'm using it. Plus, the factory installed sound damnpening material is great. Plus, the build qualit, fit and finish, is excellent on this one.

If it's a choice between the Tt and Lian-Li cases, I'd go with Lian-Li long before a Tt case...

Lian-Li are great cases. can't really go too wrong.

Spoken like someone that's had a chance to use them as well as use other brand cases...

okay, seems like pc-6070b is winning . . .

does the removable mobo tray really help?? im a first time build-from-scratch builder (up to now, i only upgrade manufacturer PC's or helped friends)

also, FYI, i didnt put a poll because there are too many fanbois and if someone gives a recommendation, they need to back it up with examples

hmm, then i guess the tsunami is out of the running . . .

and i dont like the look of the shark . . .

guess its the PC-6070B, thanks!

The TT Tsunami has removable hard drive cages, so there is not much need for a mobo tray. I am a first time builder and I had a chance to build my first comp up at the local store all on my own. Simple as pie. You really can't go wrong with either the Lian Li or Tsunami. Tsunami has better cooling though. Just up to you.

do you use the usb/firewire/audio pod on the top? does the wiring clutter up the inside/get in the way of any other components?

EDIT: my ultimate goal is to make the inside of the case as clean as possible . . . the pod on the top doesnt really help because the cables are very long

Well all you do is tie a velcro cable tie to them and attach it to the inside of the case somewhere. It doesn't interfere.

Thanks to all of you guys . . .

I decided to go with the . . .

TT TSUNAMI!!

I like the looks of it, plus, the things that were cons for me (no removable mobo tray, front jacks are on a pod on the top) turned out to be okay since the drive cages are removable and velcro can be used

Plus, the 2x12cm and 1x9cm fans should do the job

save $50 too 😀
