Title said it all. Play unreal alot and my hands hurt. Need to find a better way to play this game. Any comments/recomemdation/advice on which joystick to get? MS sidewinder dual strike, etc....

Thanks.

are you talking about a joystick or a game pad? i have a Sidewinder 2 with FF and i love it. but i can't stand using it for FPS games....only my flight sims.

Do your hands hurt from the joystick you're using now, or from using keyboard/mouse?

As far as joysticks go, try to find one with a bit that you can rest the edge of your hand on...this cuts fatigue down a good bit IMO. Go to BestBuy or something and grab onto a bunch untill you find one you like.

Keyboard/mouse is much more effective for FPS gaming tho...you just can't aim fast/accurrately enough with a joystick. I only use one for MW4 as it has too many buttons to configure to set up on a keyboard.

Yeah my hand hurt from KB/Mouse combo. I guess I am stuck with em for a while. Need to find a better position for em.

Thanks.

Maybe you could try one of the thumb-trackball mice that are available? Might be a little less stressfull for your paw and you can actually aim very accurately with those things once you get used to them.

here's one

and another.

Try, for a little while, to switch the mouse and the keyboard. It will lower your speed extremely, but it will force you into another pattern a while, thus relieving your hands and wrists a while.
