The problem is, with the total number of passes with the rotary to cause, and then later repair, the damage to the clear coat, your clear coat is now significantly thinner than factory thickness. How much so? Depends on how stupid the "detailer" was, and how heavy-handed YOUR detailer is. Too thin means that you won't be able to correct swirls later on caused by car washing (machine or hand), and you might suffer premature UV damage to your paint.
