Need advice on new hardware

I am almost done a build of a new computer, and need to know if these will be good running the current games.

I am on a tight budget, so what I have picked out is the max i can go.

AMD Athlon 64 3500 Venice core

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 ATX AMD Motherboard

GeIL Value 1GB (2 x 512MB)

All of this will be paired up with(what I have already bought) :
COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 case
Radeon 9800pro
EXCELSTOR J880 80GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA133 Hard Drive

Like I said, I am just looking for a good combo for what I already have, that will run games not perfect, but stable and playable. Running on games on my current Intel Celeron 2.53 ghz cpu just isn't cutting it anymore 😛(although for what it is, it does a damn good job.) Also if you can I would appreciate any recommendation for a good power supply.I was thinking something from antec; my current supply is only a 280watt. Thanks in advance.

The thing is I don't want to touch OC'ing yet, until I learn 100% how to do it. Between the 3200 and 3500, is there a big performance difference between the two out of the box? Or should I just save myself the extra $30?

P.S.-OC'ing is done with good air cooling and setting the hz in the motherboard BIOS, correct?

Thanks everyone for the feedback, and thanks for the link to overclocking. After buying, and possibly overclocking the 3200, as well as the other hardware....how do you think my system will do game wise?
