Mostly looks good. I guess Cooler Master PSUs are about all you have in India. :\ Even so you probably could go 100W less.

Is the hard disk 7200RPM or 5400RPM?

In the future, you should consider the following upgrades:

- 2 more sticks of RAM.
- An SSD, especially if the hard disk is 5400RPM.

But neither is vital for now.

PSU and GPU are overkill if you are not gaming IMHO...

I have never used Transcent before, I personally would prefer GSkill, Crucial or Corsair..

I agree with this. Rendering is one of the few places where the Phenom II X6 is actually competitive with Sandy Bridge. Since It's probably a hell of a lot cheaper than the Intel, I'd say to go for it.

Thank you guyz,

@Ken g6 : i would be going for 7200rpm hard-disk and as you mentioned I would be increasing my Ram in the future. thanks

@DesiPower: I might be going for Corsair. thnks for ur suggestion.

@mfenn: thnks and price is the main reason am going for AMD. And I do have a laptop with AMD processor, and the performance is awesome.

Regarding the PSU, I wanna be little safer going for more power as it doesn't cost much.

You are indeed safer by buying a slightly oversized power supply when it comes to Cooler Master's PSUs other than their Silent Pro series.

Don't even touch the extreme series from CM, they don't even give half their rated power.

With coolermaster, you should only buy:
Silent Pro M
Silent Pro Gold
Silent Pro Hybrid
Real Power (Gold rated ones)

The smallest size PSU amongst these is 700 watts and costs around Rs.7-8k or so or above $150+.

You are better off with Seasonic SII 520 or Corsair VX450 both of which are available in India.

Also, if you are gonna do 3D work, I would recommend you to buy at least Core i5 and 16GB RAM especially since you will probably multitasking your work software as well.

Why? The most CPU intensive thing that the OP will be doing is rendering, which greatly benefits from the hex-core.
