Need advice on ethernet cards

I want one that's stable and performs decently for my DSL. I have up to $30 to boot, maybe a little more, since I just dropped the idea of getting the Gigabye canterwood and go with the Abit IC7($100 less! I don't have more than 2 harddrive anyways so it makes no sense to buy a board with 6 slots). So which ethernet cards are good?

All 100Base-TX PCI NICs are equally "stable" and all perform well enough for any flavor of DSL. But if you must have a good NIC here are some good ones:

3Com 3C905C-TX (or any other 3Com card)

Intel PRO/100 Desktop Adapter

Linksys LNE100TX

Network Everywhere NC100 (known from personal experience)

U.S. Robotics 10/100 NIC (not sure about the model number, but the card is really cheap in price and a good choice for a NIC to hook up to a broadband modem)

Yes, but it's a bit overkill. I seriously doubt you're gonna need gigabit ethernet for your DSL modem since it's just going to drop down to 10Base-T as soon as they auto-negociate. You can save $16 by going with a simple 100Base-TX card.
