Ok, with an electric bill that high you need to examine your usage. The easiest change is to replace all your incandescent light bulbs with compact flourescent if you haven't already. You should be able to find cfl's for around $1-2/each if you shop around. Brighter bulbs are more expensive. Seriously my electric bill is $35/month and I leave my computer on all the time. Remember, because cfl's are lower wattage, you can put brighter bulbs in fixtures that are only rated for 60 watts. A $100 investment here could save you over $2000 in the long run. Make sure you turn off everything when you're not using it. How many refrigerators do you have? What's the SEER of your air conditioner? You might be able to get a free home energy audit in your locale.
Buyer beware, these are just examples:

I love how some jack-offs feel the need to berate this girl or put up comments that have nothing to do with the thread.

Anyway, how much student loan debt does she have? Is it federal or private?

Look up your state laws on the matter.

In the great state of Texas even if a company choose to take you to court with a lawsuit and even if they win they arent able to garnish wages, however I hear this is relatively rare and most states laws are set up so that your wages could be garnished to force payment.
