Need advice on a sound card

I just ordered some 4.1 speakers for my computer and was guessing that the onboard audio, which I believe has 2 channel (biostar m7vkb motherboard) support will not be enough to support the full features of the speakers. If this is not correct please let me know. If it is could you recommend a sound card under 30 dollars that is decent?

Thanks

turtle beach santa cruz for 60 bucks.
30 dollars? you gotta be kidding me for a decent soundcard.
by the way what brand and model of speakers did u get

I look at them as more of a gift. If a better sound card will make that big of difference what would you suggest b0mbrman? Maybe ill save up a bit first and then splurge, but being the working/college type 30 bucks was what I hand in mind just call it wishful thinking I guess.

I think they are the logitech z540's or the z560's. The sblive 5.1 looks to be in the price range I was thinking. Does everyone agree that it will get the job done.

I have a sblive value, it gets the job done for me...but i may be no audiophile unlike many on this forum (ie creative bashers)

but creatives driver support really sucks, i lost my drivers cd, had 2 get from a friend because they don't let u dl drivers off their site
