Need advice on a flash drive for my fiance..

Drive needs to be 8gb+ and I didn't see too much variety on newegg or amazon. Anyone know if a cool looking one? It needs to be a low profile one because her laptop has 2 USB slots stacked and 1 uses her wireless mouse slot.

Cool and green? Hand her a $20 bill and a list of potential options from Amazon.

It's been my experience that average people _can_ make their own technology choices once you've whittled down the field a bit.

The Lexar Jumpdrive Firefly at 8GB for $25 is a ganga deal. I carry one on my car keys all the time.

BTW - what makes a flash drive "green?" Are they biodegradable?

Also, don't let stacked USB ports get in your way - use a 6-in extension cable. I carry two in my laptop case all the time.
