NEED ADVICE AVIVO WITH X850XT?

Hey, I just set up in a new barracks room and I want to use my LCD as my movie screen, because it's nicer than a TV. I can't figure out how to use VIVO on my Asus X850 XT EE. Is it even possible? I'd like to run S-Video from my DVD player to the X850 and play it on the computer screen. Does anyone know if I can do this?

Why don't you just use a dvd drive in your computer?

haha, because then my remote is a wireless mouse, which is less convenient.

Yes you can, just plug the s-video cable in your VIVO adaptor, and use Ati's Multimedia center, if you want the sound also, you are going to need this

hmm, ok, i tried the MMC install before, and it said it might not work because i dont have UCI or DVD installed. I'm not sure what effect that will have.
