Need advice about power supply choice

I'm building my 1st rig, so I'm a bit unsure of what to do. I just want a standard rig (no OCing, not a mega-gamer, etc.) and the issue of power supply has come up. I've decided on getting the Cooler Master Centurion 5 and I'm not sure if I should get the case with bundled 380W PS at $75 or get the case without power supply ($50) and add on the Fortron Source AX400-PN 400W power supply for $40 for a $90 total. Is it that much harder to combine an unrelated power supply and case, and would the rig be better off with a seperate PS? Also, would there be enough power connections to handle the components listed below?

You are probably better off getting the Fortron seperately since you don't know the other psu vendor. Peace of mind is worth $15.

You almost never get good (and/or current design) PSUs in combos. There are some exceptions: AOpen, Compucase and Antec usually include decent PSUs. But even there they are often old designs without adequate Amperage on the +12 rail(s) and too much on the +5V rail (which is the case with the CM you linked). So most often the best way is to get a case w/o PSU and get a good PSU that is well matched to your system configuration (plus a bit of margin for updates in the future).

OK, so getting the seperate PS is good, but is the Fortron Source AX400-PN mentioned earlier good enough for my humble rig?

That is one of the better value PSUs out there right now. If I had the money, I'd go for the FSP400-60GLN or the similar Silverstone Strider with active PFC and full-range AC tolerance. I think those features are worth the money - others differ.
