Hi all,

I'm moving out soon and I will need a wireless router .11n draft, etc. I use internet mostly for games, downloading legal stuff and other common useages.

I currently have the wireless adapter D-Link DWA-552 32-bit PCI Xtreme Desktop Adapter: Standards: IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.11n Draft 2.0
Security: Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA, WPA2)
WPA/WPA2: WPA2
Frequency Band: 2.4GHz - 2.4835GHz

So now I need a good wireless router to go with it, easy to set-up and use and simply reliable.

I know it's best to go wired but where i'm moving it's not an option.

Thanks for your advices!

The Belkin Play works well for me. Very easy to setup and best performance I've had yet from a wireless router. $69 at Costco.

Thanks rpr13.

Finally I got the D-Link DIR-615 since it was on discount.

I only have one question: Is there a way to disable the 4 lan ports on the back so no one can plug in there and abuse my internet? And if I have a password protecting my wireless connection, is it protecting the lan ports too?

Thanks!

How is your router not in a secure location? If someone has access to my router abusing my internet is the least of my worries.

It's a little complicated...

To make it short, I live in a house not owned by me. I have one floor and the owner has the other. The owner don't want access to internet but the modem is on her floor so I had to install the router next to her modem.

That's why i'd like to block access to the lan ports sinci I already secured my wireless connection...

EDIT: Maybe I should just drill a hole somewhere and bring back my router on my floor...I'll try that at lunch time...

EDIT2: I managed to bring the router on my floor. No more worries! Thanks for your replies.
