Thank you very much for the info. We're trying to stay under $100k for a red or yellow spider. We looked at yellow 2001 spider yesterday at a local Lambo dealer for $95k but the interior condition was average to below average. We're going to look at a red 2001 spider w/ 16k miles tomorrow morning from a private individual. He's asking $105k and supposed to have all service records. We would prefer to buy from a private party rather than a dealer since GA doesn't tax private party sales. It would save us ~$7k in sales tax.

If you have any good leads, I would appreciate any help. We're looking to purchase immediately and have the funds ready.

We do not allow requests for CarFax service reports and apparently this is an different beast.

Manheim is a car auction through which only dealers are able to buy cars. MMR checks basically just give you the wholesale market average price (and trend) for a specific make and model. It's the most accurate way to price a car that you're trying to buy or sell as that's the price you can expect a dealer to offer you. While manheim access is not available to the general public, nothing prohibits me as far as I know (and I took a quick glimpse at the TOS) from sharing the information with others. If anything, it just makes it harder for me to make a (larger) profit as people know what a car is truly worth.
