After spending tons of time researching different cards to buy for BF3, and weighing the pros and cons of upgrading my 900p 19" monitor, I've decided that there aren't really many games out right now worth paying current prices for a top of the line video card.
I'm fairly certain that when November rolls around we will see a price drop due to the 7000 series announcing a release date, or the 7000 series being released, or simply due to a sale. As of now I was undecided between a 6850/6870/6950/560TI, and as those are all expensive before rebates, I've decided to wait.
I'll have a fully complete build with a 2500k, 8gb ram, Z68 mobo, nzxt phantom case, antec 550w modular psu, 2 250gb harddrives in raid, and a 22" 1080p monitor by next week.
I want to be able to max out CS:S AND TF2 at 1080p; what's the cheapest card that I can do that with?
