I replaced an electric hot water tank with a gas one this last week. I'm entitled to a $50.00 rebate from the gas company for my efforts. I got the installer to sign off on it and everything, but he carted off the old one before I got the serial number from it. That's required to get the rebate. I just called the gas company to see if they would let that slide and she said... NO! Sheesh!
If anyone here has a 40 gallon, electric, RUUD hot water tank that's several years old, I'd appreciate very much having the model and serial numbers from it if you can't get the rebate yourself. This is all on the up and up. No games, just forgot to write that info down before he took the tank.
Oops, I see I did write down the model number as RP40-2, but I have a second rebate form I can fill out for a different model number if you would be so kind.
