Question Need a review of a partial build. Also, do you think 2700x will drop much more in price?

Upgrade build for my aging AMD 8350 rig. I just need a new CPU, RAM, and Mobo. I'm trying to keep it around $500-$600. I kinda want a new case as well. I'm using an old HAF 912, but there is no USB 3.0 support or USB-C, which would be nice.

Also, how much lower do we think 2700x will go? $294 is just below average. I don't think it will drop by more than 25% when the new Ryzen series comes out.

It is expected they will announce their new chips at the end of this month, so I would personally wait and see what happens.

The price of their 1st gen CPUs dropped quite a bit after the new ones launched last time. If Zen2 is as good as many people think it will be, there will likely be good deals to be had. Heck, there are still deals to be had on the first gen Ryzens in Newegg's latest flier.

The build looks pretty good, the R6 is great, though a bit heavy. As mentioned, 3rd gen may be out soon, may be worth waiting. Only other consideration would be to possibly get faster RAM, in anticipation of higher speeds on either the 2700X or the next gen Ryzen chips. Should be fine with 3200MHz C14, which is pretty much guaranteed Samsung Bdie. It's a bit more in price though.
