Need a recommendation

I am currently using a 3.2 P4 with 1GB of RAM adn a ti4200.

I have a 2005fpw on the way which has a native resolution of something like 1600x1080 or clsoe to that.

Questions:

1) If I wish to play Half life 2(Counterstrike) will I be able to play on my ti4200?

2) If yes to #1 will I be able to play it at native resolution of 2005fpw?

3) Does Half life 2 support native resolution of 2005fpw, meaning is it a choice in video settings of Half life 2?

4) If I need to upgrade I want to keep it at around $200. WHich card would you fine people recommend?

5) Finally, the card you are recommending will that cars support native resolution of 2005fpw in Half life 2?

2: No.
3: No, HL2 supports 1600x1024, just checked.
4: 6600GT is great for around 200, and should give you and average of about 50 fps without CPU bottleneck in many games @ 1600x1200 without Anti-aliasing or Anisotropic Filtering.
5: Yup.

If you turn all the settings to super low you might be able to play in 1680x1050.

I'm guessing even then he'll average no more than 20fps, so I doubt he'll want to play it that way.

Man you guys are awesome. From what it seems I can play with ti4200 at crappy resolution with some slowdown. I see if I upgrade to a 6600gt I can play with nice framerates with good resolution. THanks so much people. Guess I will be purchasing a 6600gt.
