Need a recommendation for a game to play for my Wife

My wife enjoyed the CSI series of games and is looking for something else to play in her spare times. She isn't a "gamer" like most of us, but enjoys puzzle solving and a plot line. I can't seem to find much else that suits her taste, any suggestions?
 
You need to make her realize there are headshots to be had in the gaming world.. Nothing like Counter-Strike or Unreal Tournament to start her off on. 😉

Myst sounds good... Maybe bejeweled? 😛
 
No story to be had that I'm aware of (i.e. I haven't played the full game) but a few of us here on here @ AT have gotten our wives plants vs zombies and they seem happy with it. There is a demo that you could let her play on steam as well.
 
Myst is a good choice for a puzzle type game. If she has an iphone it's available for that too and IMO it's a damn good port. Sam and Max is another great point and click adventure series but with a light-hearted tone.
 
Tried Braid? Puzzle game with wonderful "hand painted" graphics. Amazing piece of art imo 🙂

Portal is a good choice.. the upcoming rerelease of Monkey Island would be awesome.. how could anyone not like that game? I bet you could find a lot of wife-friendly cheap games in the Steam catalog from some of the indie publishers.

Seconded. The Longest Journey is bundled with Dreamfall (the sequel). Great story + female protagonist. The graphics may a bit dated on the original if she cares about that.
