I setup one of my customers with a simple Dell unit (don't have model info currently), and just recently the PSU has started buzzing like the fan got knocked off it's axis. The dumb pathologists probably knocked it over or dropped it, but anyway it makes a horrible racket.
I know I can help them replace it through warranty, but if I can get a sufficient PSU for cheap, I'd rather just do that than hassle with Dell's support.
The computer is dedicated to capturing images from a microscope camera connected through a firewire board, so there aren't many great demands on the system as far as power goes. It's a P4 running one SATA drive, a DVD burner, a Radeon 9200 and the PCI firewire card. That's it.
Can you help a brutha out?
