Mobo--- ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813131299

Ram---- mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820146731

Are you mainly gaming or doing lots of video editing/encoding?

Gaming - just change to e8400.

Encoding - use Q6600 or Q8200 (cooler & less power)

What power supply do you have? Make sure it's got enough juice to run that 4870 and a quad.

Nice deal on a good PSU.

I do like my GTX 260. I like the deal I got on it even better: $170 shipped from eBay after Microsoft Live Cashback program. Look for details in the Hot Deals forum.
