Okay, here's the deal:
Currently I have the early version of the SB Live (the one with the additional digital I/O card), and I am looking to get a 5.1 speaker setup for my system (currently I have an FPS1000).
Problem is, here in Malaysia, it is so darn hard to find either the DTT2500 or DTT3500, but today at a computer fair I saw a cool promotion - an SB Live 5.1 (dunno which version, though) and the DTT2200 for a package deal of RM600 (that's around USD160).
So, now I've got two choices:
1) Continue my (frustrating) search for a store that does sell the DTT2500/DTT3500 without ripping me off; or
2) Get the SB Live 5.1 + DTT2200 quickly before it gets sold out. With the extra cash I could throw in an additional 256MB RAM for my PC
A major influence on my decision would be sound quality. So this is the part where I need your help. I've never listened to the DTT speakers before, so I don't really know how well they sound in comparison to each other. More specifically, I'd like to know the sound quality comparison of the DTT2200 vs DTT2500/DTT3500.
