Why don't you try copying it on another computer, copy it to a fresh CDR.

I've had luck before making a copy of the CD when I've gotten errors installing...

Brasso works like a charm, better than any professional "CD repair kit" or toothpaste. Google for info and instructions. You can repair any CD that is not scratched through the metal.
