Need a program for a business

Hello,

I'm working on a project for a construction company right now.
They need to able to:

Enter name(s) of the customer
What they did
Price
How they paid, etc

And maybe other stuff yet to be determined. It's all done on paper right now and they want to start moving it all to the computer to keep it organized for future reference. I've seen Quickbooks before and it looks like a great program to use but I'm looking to see if there was something cheaper out there first as they don't need all the features that Quickbooks has.

Thanks,

Jeff

Legal copy or illegal sale of OEM version? (NOT accusing you of anything, it's just true that a lot of eBay software is OEM, academic, not-for-resale, or outright pirated.)

Considering you have not exactly determined what is entailed in this project. How can you make the statement that quickbooks has features that you do not need. You can buy different versions of quickbooks. If they are a construction company, they must be making halfway decent money. I am assuming of course. If they want to make the move to computer. Do it once, and do it right. They might regret it later on. All because they wanted to save a little money. Good Luck.

Eraser.

Hmm, database has ran across my mind. Heck, I could just do something up in Excel but then again I'm wondering if the company which is making good money btw would like the extra features of Quickbooks.

Thanks for the suggestions🙂

I was at STAPLES today (lookin at biz sw) and they had an invoice program where you can make up the form and enter all the info via database like entry fields... check out the shelves, Im sure they'll have it at most stores

It was a perfectly legal copy. It had just been used and we got the registration switched over. Piece of cake.
