First: I don't want a PocketPC. I like the PalmOS and I'm sticking with it. Linux-Based PDAs are even further out of the question.

My choice at the moment is between the Palm Tungsten T and the Tungsten C.

Pros of T:
Smaller
Bluetooth
Cheaper

Pros of C:
Thumbpad
WiFi
64MB of RAM
400Mhz Xscale proc.

I'm leaning towards the C, because I dig thumbpads over Graffiti, and if I got the T I'd have to get the Fitaly keyboard addon. Plus the huge leap in memory seems like it'd help. Anyone have one of these and can comment?

Blech, no thanks.
The aesthetics of the Clie are horrible, IMO.
I had the NR-70V, and it was way too big. I tried the new clie with the thumbpad, and it's horribly designed.

Not to mention that Sony has their own proprietary bullsh1t interface and useless extra software which pisses me off.

I have a Tungsten T, & it defeats the purpose of a Palm, it's inconvenient to use...

The slider is retarded, and the buttons are easily activated if you don't keep the plastic piece of crap covering the buttons. So instead of pulling out my Palm (I've had a couple of 515's, opening up the case & using it, I pull out my Palm, open the case, take off the plastic cover, and open the slider:( I really haven't found a use for the Bluetooth, I paired it with my Sony Erickson Phone & can dial my phone remotely, big freakin' deal...

I'm looking @ the Tungsten C myself, 64 megs of memory, WiFi, thumb-board... What can I say, I'm a sucker for all things Palm:D

If you have a bluetooth-enabled device, it's great. I have a T68i on AT&T Wireless, so I picked up a Tungsten T. Getting email and doing a little web browsing from the palm is easy and works great. Further, there is a great piece of software called BTToggle that makes it easy to switch on/off the Bluetooth on the PDA to conserve battery life.

As far as the slider goes... all you need are a couple pieces of freeware: OKey lets you do "soft menu" functions using the 5-way nav button thing, and GraffitiAnywhere lets you Graffiti on the main portion of the screen. I can't remember the last time I actually had to "open" up my TT to perform a function.
