Need a paper topic

Ok, so I have to write a 12 page paper, and this is all the Prof has told us:

"The paper should cover strategic issues covering the application of technology."

I'm so screwed, any ideas for a topic?

Is the application of technology inherently enequal?

I.E. will technology increase the already large deficit between the rich and the poor by giving those who already have access to such resources even more access to greater knowledge while impeding the growth of those already behind the curve?

I really wish I could do a paper about that, but thats not at all what this class is about. For the record, the class is "Information Systems Planning & Management"
