Need a new video/graphics card

MY computer specs:
windows 7 32 bit
2gb rams
intel pentium dcpu 3.00 ghz (2cpus)
Directx11
ATI radeon Xpress 200 series
I dont know how much watt for the power supply, but i believe it's around 300 or so.


Here is the requirements for the game.

i play a fps game and the requirements its not that high tech, but it updates and improves on graphics over time. The lag is not that great, but I would like to have the best game experience while playing. I know the computer is not the best, but I know it's doable.

Just grab this 4650 ddr3, it will be more then enough. 50$. Oh yea and it will work with your power supply.

a 3.0 Pentium D is a 95 watt cpu so yeah a 4650 is about as high as you can go with that power supply. depending on exactly what model it may only have 14-15 amps on the 12v line. being cheap and after years of usage it will not even make that.

well look down there and see exactly what the label says. it will have the name, model, and specs right there on the label. while you are down there see what the amps rating on 12v line is.

a 4650 is still going to be an okay gpu for your price range. what resolution are wanting to play at?

so you went from 300 to 400 to it actually being a 500 watt psu? lol. that's not that great of a psu for a 500 watt unit but for your needs its way more than enough.

you still did not say what res you are wanting to play at. if its 1280 or below then get that 4650.

He has a pentium D, a 4650 ddr3 is more then enough. Did you read the game specs?

yeah but if he just happens to have a larger monitor then I was thinking something a little faster would be better in case he plays more than just that game. of course that cpu is poopy slow for any decent card though.

It you must buy from best buy, just grab this 4350 for 40$. It will play that game at max settings.

Your power supply will run that 4850 i linked to,and i don't think you'll find a faster card under 50 dollars

i'd def say 4850. if/whenever you get a new computer, you can just pop that card into it and at that point you'll appreciate the very big difference between a 4350 and a 4850. or even the 4650 and 4850.
