I've gone through all my old favorite series (Farcsape, Stargate (SG:1, Atlantis, Universe), Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Angel, True Blood, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Red Dwarf, Dr. Who, Weeds, Sarah Connor Chronicles, House, Californication, Dexter) and probably more I can't remember) and I'm not in the mood to work through any of them again.

I recenetly finished up the Spartacus blood & sand and the prequel and loved them both, I'd like to find a series similair to that. One of those series that didn't see a lot of public chatter but is really good and fun to watch.

Suggestions? I have Netflix so anything on Watch Instantly is a win.

Jericho. Seasons 1 and 2. It's short and was canceled prematurely, but the first season is EXCELLENT and the 2nd is ok. Worth the watch though.

Prison Break is excellent as well. Outside of the 2nd season being a little slow (or was it the third?) the whole series is very well done, imo.

Star Trek. Start with TOS or TNG and work your way through all of them including ENT

Edit: Can't forget Babylon 5

Shameless on Showtime
Haven't seen or heard of that, going to check it out. Thanks.

Forgot about those two, I've seen both of them. Both great series.

I've seen all the Star Treks except Deep Space and all of Enterprise. I have Babylon 5 but I haven't seen it yet, just bits and pieces. I should get around to checking it out.

If you liked Spartacus, try Rome.

The Wire
The Shield
Firefly?
I'll check out Rome, Wire, and Shield, never seen those. I've seen Firefly tho, another great series.

Sons of Anarchy was just added to Netflix. It is a very good show in my opinion. Rescue Me is good as well.

Also, on Netflix is Roswell. I thought that was a pretty entertaining series.

Fringe starts off as a monster of the week show, but gets more interesting during the second half of season 1. You do need to watch the first half for the bits of information that will make sense later.

I just finished The Pillars of Earth on Netflix streaming. It is an 8 episode mini series that aired on Starz last year. I thought it was really entertaining, and had a great cast. Based on the other series you listed, I think you would enjoy this series also.

I only wish the series were longer, as it seemed rushed. The events seem to progress extremely fast, and I am sure it could have been extended into a full season, if not more. I would give it a solid 8/10.

Might seem like a weird suggestion since your watched list is Scifi heavy but Netflix has the entire series of Cheers on instant.
I'm on episode 5. Already Hilarious.

NORM!

The Greatest American Hero

A touching drama about a down on his luck school teacher who receives a powerful suit from alien visitors. The aliens were concerned with the plight of mankind and hoped the Greatest American Hero could help change the situation.

I would try Lie to Me if you have Netflix. Similar to House, gruff main character has remarkable talent in a specific field and has a team to help him. Only instead of medical stuff it's solving crimes based on reading facial ticks and body language that's apparent when people are lying, scared, stressed, etc. I found it pretty interesting for a couple seasons at least.

The Shield is 7 Seasons, of which maybe 5 are complete WIN. Enough to keep you busy for a while.

SOA is going down hill fast. Hopefully this next season will pick up the pace a little.

Breaking Bad is good, though this last season left a lot to be desired. Still 3 Best Actor award wins in a row doesn't lie.

The Wire, watch this without reading all of the Hype ATOT puts behind it. Otherwise you'll watch 4 seasons of the most boring TV in history. But if you aren't expecting it to be THE BEST SHOW EVAR!!!!1 then it might turn out at least passable for TV.

I am currently watching this too. I had never seen a single episode before I started watching it. I agree it is pretty funny. Coach cracks me up.

Tragedy that this took 22 posts to be mentioned. It is, hands down, the best show I have ever watched. Ever.
