Need a new tablet

I need to replace my crappy TF101.

How good are tablets like the Asus TF300 and Acer A700? They're about $300 on Amazon.

Or should I get a TF700 at $400?

No Nexus suggestions please, I need a uSD slot and HDMI out.

I'd go with something newer. ASUS should be releasing a new tablet soon. But Toshiba already beat them to it with it's first Tegra 4 tablet. And it's looks pretty nice.

I'm waiting for the HP Slatebook X2 though. The screen DPI isn't as high. But I love the keyboard dock that is included for the same price as that Toshiba tablet by itself.

The Slatebook looks interesting, but there's no mention of HDMI and uSD slot, or even the amount of onboard storage.

The Excite Pro looks like a great option.

It does have micro SD on the tablet. But it looks like the only HDMI port (full sized too) is on the keyboard base. Which I think is okay, because if you are outputting to a TV the keyboard adds additional battery life and makes for a nice stand.

Are you open to Windows tablets? Because I'd get a Surface RT at that price range.

I know it gets a lot of hate, but it's actually a decent tablet, just as long as you aren't expecting full Windows. There are a decent amount of apps in the Windows store, and it does have a microSD slot and HDMI out. I've used it with Netflix on my TV.
