Scrubs and The Office are so corny it's not even funny (get it?). Arrested Development is alright, Two and a Half Men is good, News Radio is nice. If you want something actually funny and new, try The War At Home (even though it just got canceled after 2 seasons :|)

Since you said older is fine too- I always remembered watching Home Improvement back in the day

Outside of that I watch Friends reruns ALL the time. Don't watch any other sitcoms or anything (Only Sporting Events, 24, and House)- though I have heard good things about Scrubs and the Office.

Another vote for The Office and Scrubs. I just finished all of Scrubs in about 2 weeks and I can't wait for the final season. September can't come soon enough.

Edit: It's not a comedy/sitcom, but I looooove House, so watch that too
