Need a new Router

So I need a new Wireless router as I think my Linksys is dying on me because I get random "The page Cannot be found" (FF 2.0) errors and my cable internet is slow (Have Cable Visions Optimum Online). This happens with all computers connected to the router even my Laptop which uses the WIFI connection So Whats a good Wireless G Router? as I heard to stay away from the Pre N stuff. I want one with good range possibly better than the WRT54G as I could barely get WIFI in the living room of my house (Still using stock antennas)
