Bigboxes has the right idea by going the rma route first. If you decide you don't want to go that way I am a fan of EVGA. I have the Supernova G2 650 in my Skylake build and it has worked very well. I don't do anything super intensive though outside of some Eth mining in the evenings when it cools down and the occasional No Mans Sky session.
The G2 is the last gen model though. I think the G3 replaced it but Johnny Guru gave it a great review too. Anyway, here's the Amazon link if you want to check it out. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYGFRL6/ref=twister_B01LXKQ07C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Just as a FYI, RMA with Seasonic does require the unit to be purchased from an authorized retailer to process an RMA.

If you can't afford the downtime, order a Corsair CX or EVGA B1, depending on whether you want to deal with mail-in rebates or not, in the meanwhile. 550 watts is enough but make sure the connectors are to your liking.

I'be had four Seasonic power supplies up until recently. The last three are still in operation. My first S12 died a month after the five year warranty expired. That was good enough for me and bought another. I've got a silver 850 model that's still running strong after 8 years of 24/7 duty. I've got a Platinum 860 that has now passed the 2 1/2 year mark of 24/7. I just purchased a Prime Titanium for my upcoming home server build. It's got a 12-year warranty.

Seasonic builds great power supplies that are stable, accurate and last. If your's died prematurely then I would suspect it's an aberration. I would RMA the defective unit and have them send you a current unit.

Thank you. All this is all great advice. I have to build a PC for my Wife and a new server so maybe I can start the process to fix or replace my PSU and at the same time buy her PSU and use it until i receive my new PSU.
