I currently have a HP Photosmart C7280 printer. It is several years old and still "works." The biggest problem I have with it is the first time I use it the paper jams. Example, If I print something now, the paper will jam. Once I clear the jam, I can print many, many pages without a problem. First time I use it tomorrow, the printer paper jams, clear jam and all is well.
I want to buy a printer that prints, scans and faxes. It is strictly for home use, maybe on occasion grandkids will use it for school or other people need something scanned and faxed.
I want a printer that is wifi/Ethernet and usb capable. 90% of the time I am using my laptop and the printer is in another part of the house. My current printer is connected via Ethernet to my Asus router.
One feature I definitely want/need is automatic two sided printing. Sometimes I print several documents during the day and with the printer in a different part of the house automatic 2 sided printing is a must.
Also, auto feed of several pages to be scanned would be great.
I'd like to avoid HP printers if I can. But since it has been several years since I have had this HP model I would hope HP quality has improved and "might" consider a HP.
Any suggestions on brands and features, etc.
Thanks
