I guess my best option is to RMA the second stick back to Crucial and hope I get a stick that works.
Go for it. Seems like the best option; especially since the other stick is working so well. PLEASE make sure you RMA with the EXACT numbers on the "good" stick. I realize that you said earlier that they were the same but just double check to make sure.

Now I ask you this. What is the proper procedure to RMA the RAM back to Crucial? I have never had any problems with anything bought online, and I'm not exactly sure how I go about doing this. Any basic things that I need to remember?

Thanks,
Mike

Just have your original box with you when you make the call to them. I believe you can actually do it via online but I prefer calling. The box and/or your reciept will have the order number etc that they need to issue an RMA. Just tell them that you have done extensive testing and that one stick just does not want to function as it should. They will give you some options as to whether you want credit, replacement, etc. You just send it to them and they will replace or credit your account/credit card.
