My iPhone 5s is no longer charging after getting little wet. So today I fired up my old GSM Galaxy Nexus which I haven't used since 2013 and have to use that until I can get a new phone. I'm thinking about going back to Android since I prefer it, and I don't want to shell out $800 for a new iPhone 6s when the new iPhone 7 is right around the corner. Best Buy has the 32gb Nexus 6P in stock for $420 and 64gb for $470 but I have to wait for 64gb to be shipped. Would you buy Nexus 6P at this point in its life cycle or some other phone? Thanks.

I'd be happy with a Nexus 6P, and that's coming from someone who uses an iPhone as a daily driver. Stick to the 32GB model unless you know you're either going to have this phone for a long while or are likely to hit the storage limit quickly.

Best Buy raised the price back to $500 for 32gb and $550 for 64gb. :( Couple hours ago, it was $$80 cheaper. Now I'm back to square one.

Best Buy via eBay still had the old price of $420 for the 32gb Nexus 6P. So I just bought it from there and selected local store pickup to pickup this evening. This actually worked out better because I got 2% eBay Bucks ($8.40) and was able to use $15 off $75 Home & Garden code to get free tape measure as well.

Thanks. Picked up the phone last night and spent some time getting familiar with it. It feels good to be back on Android and Nexus phone again. I'm still getting used the size but it's not bad. The finger reader is fast and the phone is buttery smooth. I love having file manager again and being able to install emulators and Kodi. The real test will be this week when I test the GPS and the battery life. I need super fast and accurate GPS as I use it all the time, and I need good battery life. The iPhone 5s had superb GPS and acceptable battery life.
