Alright here is a big curve ball, I am an AMD fan, have been since I started building computers. What is a good AMD processor and Motherboard combo I can get right now?

P.s- I am looking for something I can overclock down the road.

Intel is stomping AMD right now. If this was a budget gaming build and the difference in price between an i5 2500k/Z68 and a Phenom II X4 955/880G was the difference between speccing a GTS 450 or being able to fit in a GTX 560 Ti, I'd recommend the 955 with the GTX 560 Ti. But you can afford the i5 2500k with an appropriate video card.

It would still be a crap shoot, the AMD CPU would almost undoubtedly gimp the GPU.

Alright well that combo deal that was originally posted is no longer available can anyone suggest something else with the i5-2500k?

GA-Z68A-D3H $129
$349, which is better than a lot of the i5 2500K combos right now and you get a Z68 board.
