Bottom line...which of the four monitors I selected would you choose? As per the original post. 300.00 (give or take a few bucks) or less. Best bang for the buck.

If someone is really serious, this is the right answer.
Absolutely. If you are more serious than these nublets, CRT is the only way to go.

Or these guys. Well, actually these guys are tough but seeing how in this 6min match there's only $30k on the line (winner $50k, second place $20k) it's a good opportunity to take it easy and have a little fun playing with flatscreens. I'm sure if there was serious money involved they'd roll out the CRTs.

The funniest part of your post is that it inadvertently points out one of the funniest aspects of e$ports. You're going to play on whatever is provided to you by the sponsors. Good to see that marketing is reaching the appropriate audience, however. 😎

Noob question, why is a CRT better for gaming vs LCD?, my trusty old "19 Samsung sits in storage, maybe I'l put it on CL as a vintage "gaming monitor", LOL...

Well, I just got a E-IPS panel and no matter how good a CRT is good for gaming I would never in a million years trade it in for a CRT or TN panel.

Now, I understand why people rave about it as compared to CRT and TN panels.

My original question got lost in the CRT debate. So...which of the monitors I selected is best in your opinion? Do not want CRT. And Remobz, what brand, et al did you buy for your E-IPS panel??
