Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher's Bay. Should be able to find it cheap now.

[please note it is a very mature game]
PK and it's Xpak is MUCH "deeper" than the Serious Sam series . . . there are unlockable levels, alternate endings, the MOST crazy 'secret places' you can imagine and undocumented weapon's combos - did i mention great usage of the Havok 2 physics engine? . . . plus the best sky-boxes in any game to dateOriginally posted by: StevenYoo

Painkiller? IVe heard its really good. Im going to play it myself over the holidays
very fun mindless action game.
like a much darker Serious Sam
recommended.
[highly]
yeah, a little problem there. It took me a month to talk my mom into letting me get half-life 2, if it's "very mature", then I doubt I will be able to have it.
i'm glad i mentioned it then . . . it is set in a prison where you get to sneak up behind someone and break their neck . . . plus the game is liberally peppered with the F-word.
i'd highly recommend DE:IW and Thief DS if you haven't played them . . . they are from '03/'04 . . . FC is great gameplay and a crappy story but excellent outdoor gfx and good [if difficult to beat] enemy AI and no proper 'anytime save' . . . i liked it but not as well as HL2.
Serious Sam 2 is out next month [FEAR too; or is it this month?]
Thanks, I'll look into it. FEAR sounds like a good game, as long as it's not rated M for anything more than intense violence and blood, gore maybe. Language, suggestive themes, alcohol, drugs and such is where my mom draws the line.
